Nara - the creator of Soulfoodia

I’m Nara Wilson - the creator of Soulfoodia. I’m a new Kiwi and I live in New Zealand. Here you will find my thoughts about the world, about the things I love: people, food and greenery.

I’ve been cooking and baking for a very long time. I love gardening. I draw my inspiration from what I know and what is around me, and  I write about those things that make me gasp and wonder and question. Simply, the world amazes me.

The old Maori proverb sums it up best: What is the most important thing in the world?  It is people! It is people! It is people!            

This site - from cover to cover I have made myself. I am not a designer and have never studied design but I have enjoy creating these pages. If something you not like in this site please, not to be exacting critic. I do his best in everything I tries.

Russian and English texts are written also by me, except for those posts, where there is the name of another author. As my husband ( an examiner of the international system IELTS in the British consulate) says, my stories are excellent practice for studying The English language.

Many things I create by my hands; I grow flowers in our garden, knit bright warm jerseys for my husband, make presents for my friends. 

I enjoy cooking tasty meals including pies, pancakes, fruit cakes, bread and jam.  I adore decorating cakes, biscuits, sponges etc because everyone realizes that a cake is a hundred times more delicious   when decorated and the kids absolutely love it.

I give help to my son when he repairs something in our house, I create photos for my website Soulfoodia and I paint old chairs, tables and cupboards in order to rejuvenate them - all this is part of my daily life.

With pleasure I accept new innovative ideas and if they conform to our needs I apply them in practice. Whether these ideas are part of the Vector Systems Psychology of Yuri Burlan, techniques for self development, ideas from Photo School where I spent some very interesting and valuable training, creating a business, recipes for preparing food or The Astrological Vedic philosophy of Rami Blect, all are worthwhile and part of my philosophy of life.

In each person, especially for me lives the deepest aspiration to harmony and a huge desire to pass it on to the world.

I think, it is my destination in life - to carry kindness and light through my photos, short sketches, stories and photo reportings from different corners of our wonderful planet; to share with my readers bright displays of being; to inspire those who need support, and to give them all that I have in my soul.
